About The Role As an international fintech company, ibsettle devotes itself to developing efficient transactional banking services for innovative small and medium-sized businesses. Currently, ibsettle is expanding its team in Vilnius. We seek a hands-on COO to drive operational excellence, optimize processes, manage risk smartly, and inspire a team. Responsibilities Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to develop and implement business strategies Manage operations team, assign tasks, and distribute workload Oversee team’s productivity while building a culture in which employees can thrive and organizational goals are met Manage the Electronic Money Institution (EMI) treasury and day-to-day operations Liaise with partner financial institutions regarding payment transactions and other matters Implement and maintain operational procedures to meet business needs Improve IT system functionalities to meet customer needs and solve problems Drive the adoption of new technologies and innovative practices to enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction while being compliant with regulatory requirements Requirements 4+ years of operations management experience in the finance sector including team management experience as COO or similar leadership role Knowledge of laws applicable to the EMI and comprehension of financial regulation Proven track of driving operational excellence and process optimization Solid problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making Highly disciplined, self-motivated and delivery-focused Excellent communication and presentation skills Fluent in English and Lithuanian (verbal and written) Karma points Interest and/or experience in the fintech sphere Understanding the flow of SEPA and SWIFT transactions Deeper knowledge of transactional or corporate financial services Utilization of technologies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness Relevant education, training, and certificates No stranger to a sense of humor Benefits Be part of a great team in the exciting and ever-expanding fintech industry Get your ideas heard and have the power to improve processes Grow together with the Company while learning from industry experts Friendly (and sometimes funny) atmosphere, social events Cozy and dog-friendly office in the heart of Vilnius Flexible working arrangements – hybrid workplace model Employee health insurance The monthly salary range for this position starts at EUR 4000 (gross).
