Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Developer to join a scrum team tasked with re-engineering one of the Bank’s Danish pension systems. The goal is to future-proof the system by transitioning it to the Bank’s target tech stacks. The role requires a professional who is fluent in Danish , as the existing documentation and tax rules are predominantly in Danish. Key Responsibilities Re-engineer the Danish pension system and migrate it to modern tech stacks. Actively participate in solution design and architectural discussions. Collaborate with the scrum team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Develop and maintain REST APIs and microservices. Handle tasks related to multithreading, batch processing, and security features. Maintain strong adherence to clean coding practices and documentation. Required Skills and Experience Development Expertise : 6+ years of professional experience in development. Strong experience in OpenJDK 17 with a focus on multithreading. Proficiency in Spring Boot , Spring Batch , and Spring Security . Extensive knowledge of REST API development . Strong SQL expertise. Front-End Skills : Proficiency in Angular framework . Additional Experience (Good to have): Familiarity with microservices architecture . Mainframe experience . Exposure to Kubernetes and Docker . Tools Knowledge : JIRA for project management.
