About the job: The purpose of this role is to assist the Underwriting Operations function in the delivery of high-quality client services through the provision of administrative support to the underwriting teams. The role is responsible for undertaking a variety of underwriting support services and ensuring that the desired quality and service levels at met at all times. The role forms part of the Underwriting Operations function within the Bratislava Centre of Excellence. On a day to day basis the work allocation and functional reporting line will be into the Underwriting Support Manager responsible for management of the Underwriting Controls capability Your Tasks: Data Quality and Governance in close collaboration with the Central Operations team Trend and route cause analysis on data entry errors and system inconsistencies in partnership with the Central Operations team Assist the team with the review of Gross Written Premium reports Investigate and resolve booked vs accounted premium variances Assist with the coordination of Product Oversight and Governance process Evaluate data and draft reports outlining results and trends of QA activity Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency Carry out ad hoc tasks to contribute to the team’s efficiency and ensure smooth operations Evaluating and identifying where system/process enhancements are required About you: It is expected that the successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working within a commercial (re)insurance carrier. To be successful, the individual will be required to: Essential skills: Possess analytical skills in order to report on the results of QA reviews and highlight any trends and opportunities for improvement Strong understanding of premium earned and received process Proven ability to prioritise and organise effectively Excellent verbal and written communication skills Have excellent attention to detail Relevant (re)insurance industry experience, specifically within the Underwriting Community Excellent Excel skills Strong capacity to deep dive and analyse data Proven expertise in solving problems and identifying practical solutions Proven ability to work with speed and accuracy, particularly under pressure.
