Role Overview The Projects Director is a senior leadership role responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of software implementation projects. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the role oversees project portfolios, ensuring they align with strategic goals and operational priorities. The Projects Director drives project success by ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope while fostering stakeholder relationships and promoting continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership : Collaborate with the COO to design and implement project management frameworks, align objectives with company goals, and provide leadership to project managers. Project Portfolio Oversight : Oversee project governance, monitor KPIs, and manage interdependencies to ensure seamless execution. Stakeholder Management : Build strong client relationships, serve as the primary liaison, and provide regular project updates to stakeholders. Team Development : Mentor and retain a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture. Operational Excellence : Ensure compliance with policies, manage budgets and vendor relationships, and drive continuous improvement. Risk Management : Proactively identify and resolve risks and issues affecting timelines, budgets, or quality. Requirements Education : Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Masterโs degree or MBA is preferred. Experience : 10+ years in project management, with 5+ years in senior leadership within the software or IT industry. Skills : Expertise in Agile/Waterfall methodologies and tools like Jira or MS Project. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical abilities.
