As an Engineering Manager at Iute Group, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, overseeing the development and maintenance of our products, and ensuring the implementation of best practices in security and automation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle, manage cloud security, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Furthermore, you will be responsible for overseeing policy management across the organization for workplace platforms and development tools, ensuring efficient processes and exceptional service delivery. This role involves optimizing workplace management policies, enhancing user experience, and fostering a productive and secure working environment. Your opportunities and challenges with us would be Cloud management: Design, implement, and maintain AWS/Azure/Google cloud architecture, ensuring adherence to best practices for performance, scalability, security, and cost efficiency. DevSecOps integration: Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Design and develop security automation tools and scripts for CI/CD pipelines. Monitor and address security vulnerabilities and threats in real-time. Microsoft 365/ Entra management: Oversee the implementation, configuration, and ongoing management of Microsoft 365 services and the Entra identity platform. Cloud security management: Design, implement, and manage security controls for AWS and Azure infrastructures. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing in cloud environments. Manage identity and access management (IAM) roles, policies, and permissions. Compliance and Policy management: Maintain and update security policies, procedures, and standards in line with industry best practices. Ensure security controls meet regulatory and compliance requirements. Conduct security awareness training sessions for DevOps and development teams. Incident response and Risk Management: Lead the response to security incidents, including root cause analysis and resolution. Develop and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to detect and mitigate threats. Conduct post-incident reviews and enhance security processes. Collaboration and reporting: Act as a security advocate, fostering a security-first mindset across the organization. Work closely with cross-functional teams to address security concerns and develop solutions. Prepare and present detailed security reports and dashboards to leadership For this position, you will need 3–5 years in platform and security engineering, focusing on cloud security and automation Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure platforms and their security services Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes platforms Solid understanding of networking principles (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, routing, subnetting) and security (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, load balancing) Hands-on experience with security automation in a DevSecOps environment Experience with CI/CD security, automation tools, and scripting (Python, Bash) Demonstrated ability to develop and implement security metrics and KPIs Familiar with container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices Understanding of security tools like SAST, DAST, SCA, and SIEM Knowledge of compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST) Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, AWS Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer) are a plus Bachelor’s in computer science, information security, or related field Proficiency in English Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effectively work in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly technical details Preferred qualifications would be Experience as a technical product owner or engineering manager. Expertise in agile software engineering practices Track record in leading software engineering teams Experience in requirements engineering and stakeholder management Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field Estonian at a conversational level Why work at Iute Group?
