We are a dynamic film production company based in Bucharest, Romania, dedicated to creating impactful films with a global reach. Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Financial Affairs Officer to join our exciting and creative environment. We are seeking a Junior Financial Affairs Officer who will play a key role in supporting our financial operations. You will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, budget management, and compliance with financial regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the financial aspects of the film production industry. The role is expected to start in February or March 2025. Responsibilities Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and track expenses across various film productions. Cash Flow Management: Monitor and maintain cash flow forecasts, ensuring sufficient funds are available for ongoing and upcoming film projects. Invoicing & Payments: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments. Cost Tracking: Track and analyze production costs, ensuring expenses align with project budgets. Payroll Support: Assist in processing payroll and ensuring compliance with tax and employment laws. Compliance: Ensure that all financial transactions comply with local laws and regulations, including tax filings. Contract Review: Support in reviewing financial terms in contracts with suppliers, freelancers, and service providers. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the team as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in a finance-related role (internships included). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good English language skills, both written and spoken. Good organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Romanian financial laws and tax regulations is a plus.
