The Senior Expert in ITIS Security Design is responsible for delivering cloud and hybrid-based infrastructure security services that meet business needs. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, design expertise, and a deep understanding of software, hardware, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using software tools and programming languages to ensure the delivery of effective and efficient IT infrastructure services to OMV Petrom and OMV Group. Responsibilities include creating architectural roadmaps, designing solutions, testing, implementing, and modifying IT systems with software as a core component. Responsibilities: Lead the charge in driving technology and innovation by expertly implementing and customizing technical solutions. Provide expert technical advice to middle and higher management, project managers, service managers. Stay up to date with the latest cutting-edge technologies, trends and best practices in IT Network Security area. Monitor market trends and vendor strategies to determine their impact and value to the enterprise. Work on technical and innovative improvements of services and systems, maintaining technical documentation according to company standards Configure and implement technical changes and enhancements of existing developments, ensuring high quality and proper data consistency Investigate technically complex problems and coordinate problem resolution with vendors, hardware manufacturers, and in-house personnel Participate in large projects with significant impact, providing technical advice and performing technical implementations Ensure governance support, controls, and best practices to ensure secure, highly usable, and stable services for hosted applications and end users in the Corporate IT network. Requirements: 4+ years of experience in IT network security. Proven experience in rolling out and operating IT Network Firewalls (On-premises and/or Cloud) Proficient in operating hybrid infrastructure security technologies such as Firewalls(Cloud and/or On-prem), Cloud Security, End-Point-Protection, Azure Security. Deep understanding of infrastructure services technologies, including cloud and on-premises solutions Nice-to-Have : Experience in evaluating new technologies and managing technical change. Previous hands-on in working with adjacent IT network security technologies (e.g., Zero Trust Network Access, SASE.). Experience with any widely-used scripting language for automating security service provisioning. Understanding of DevOps practices and automation.
