We are recruiting a Junior Java Backend Developer on behalf of Deutsche Bank to join their Surveillance Area team. In this role, you will contribute to enhancing the dbSIS (Surveillance Insulation Services) platform—a high-availability, high-throughput, low-latency product that demands attention to subtle technical nuances and a commitment to quality. Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and build Java-based applications. Engage in the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment. Learn and work with a variety of technologies relevant to the platform. Support and maintain applications in production environments. Design and implement solutions, configure applications, build automated tests, and deploy across multiple environments. Skills and Qualifications Programming: Basic experience with Java and an understanding of writing tests. Databases: Foundational knowledge of databases.
