Role profile The role of Accounts Payable Clerk is to provide financial, administrative and clerical support to the organization. This role is to help the organization complete and control expenses by processing, verifying and reconciling invoices. As a member of this team, you will be asked to perform this role using our North American systems applying IFRS accounting rules. Responsibilities Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices and check requests Perform monthly reconciliations Maintain vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures Perform data entry associated with accounts payable Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies Audit and process credit card bills Address and respond to vendor inquiries Support audit process Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma. Associate’s degree in Accounting High school diploma. Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred. Bilingual (Romanian/English) Knowledge of French a plus Knowledge of basic accounting principles Adaptability to working with different systems We Would Appreciate Proficient Google Suite knowledge and skills Strong time management and organizational skills High degree of attention to detail Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Knowledge of Basware software is a plus Knowledge of Excel a plus Competence profile Open minded Team spirit Autonomous Ability to work in a changing environment Organization skills Additional Information Canam offers you a stimulating work environment within a dynamic group of hundreds of drafters in different offices throughout Canada, Romania, India and the Philippines.
