You will oversee a team of IT professionals and collaborate with key stakeholders to align infrastructure initiatives with business objectives. This role requires a seasoned leader with extensive experience in designing and managing complex IT environments, along with strong leadership and strategic planning skills. Essential Job Responsibilities: Strategic Planning and Leadership: Develop and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for the organization’s IT infrastructure, aligning infrastructure initiatives with business goals and objectives. Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of IT infrastructure technologies and solutions that support business growth, innovation, and efficiency. Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the IT infrastructure team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Infrastructure Management and Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT infrastructure, including network, servers, storage, data centers, and cloud services, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Establish and maintain IT infrastructure standards, policies, and procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, and utilization, and proactively identify and address issues to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization. Technology Architecture and Design: Define and maintain the organization’s technology architecture and design principles, ensuring alignment with business needs, scalability, and flexibility. Lead the design and implementation of IT infrastructure solutions, including network architecture, server platforms, storage systems, virtualization, and disaster recovery. Security and Compliance: Develop and implement IT security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect the organization’s IT infrastructure from security threats and vulnerabilities. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal security policies, and oversee security audits and assessments. Vendor Management and Partnerships: Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and partners, and negotiate contracts, service level agreements, and pricing terms. Evaluate new technology vendors and partners, and make recommendations based on their capabilities, reliability, and alignment with business needs. Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, develop, and retain top IT talent, and provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching to the IT infrastructure team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the IT infrastructure team, and promote professional development and career growth opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. Experience in IT infrastructure management, with a proven track record of leading large-scale infrastructure projects and initiatives. Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure technologies and architectures, including network, server, storage, virtualization, cloud services, and cybersecurity. Demonstrated leadership and strategic planning skills, with the ability to develop and execute IT infrastructure strategies that align with business goals and objectives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external partners. Experience managing IT infrastructure in a regulated environment, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards. Proven track record of vendor management and contract negotiation, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors and service providers. Strong team leadership and management skills, with the ability to recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing IT infrastructure team. Demonstrated expertise in managing and collaborating with multilingual offshore and nearshore teams to run 24/7 IT operations, ensuring seamless coordination, consistent performance, and optimal service delivery across time zones. Proven experience in cybersecurity leadership, including the ability to drive SWAT-style response teams to quickly assess, triage, and resolve critical cybersecurity incidents, minimizing operational impact and protecting organizational assets.
