We are looking for an innovative and results-driven Mechanics Team Lead to oversee and inspire our design team. In this leadership role, you will manage the design and development of cutting-edge mechanical systems, ensuring projects meet technical and business requirements. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative professional with a passion for design and team collaboration. What You will do: Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of mechanical design engineers, fostering professional growth and collaboration. Design Oversight: Lead the conceptualization, development, and refinement of mechanical designs, ensuring alignment with project objectives. Project Management: Plan and oversee design projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Technical Expertise: Provide advanced technical guidance and problem-solving for complex design challenges. Innovation: Drive innovation in design processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance team performance and product quality. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, R&D, and quality assurance, to deliver integrated solutions. Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Documentation: Oversee the preparation of design documentation, specifications, and technical reports. We would love to have You on our team if you have following qualifications and skills: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical design, with at least 4 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in metal and plastic parts design. Work experience in consumer electronics area is preferable Software Skills: Expertise in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX) Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team. Project Management Skills: Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
