JOB OVERVIEW Ensures continuous development of company’s quality management system. Ensuring compliance to quality standards and procedures, especially ISO9001 and ISO14001. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the QMS-system, and its development. Assisting managers on all levels in ensuring proper use of QMS e.g. by training the users.Manages control and audit processes across the company. Responsible for Quality audit. Leads customer audits when required. Responsible for handling of non-technical customer claims and supplier claims and incoming inspection. Leading the Quality team of 2 members. KEY INTERACTIONS All other departments at site in relation to QMS or problem solving. QA colleagues at our sites in UK, CH and US to coordinate QA processes etc. Key customers and suppliers in relation to audits or claim handling. LEADERSHIP EXPECTATIONS Responsible for implementing and managing organisational goals and objectives in Department goals and KPIs. Responsible for directing people priorities and initiatives. Reports on progress of people initiatives. Manages people within policy and monitors policy. Manages employees and sets expectations. Manages team capabilities and addresses any gaps in capability. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Qualified auditor to relevant quality standards like ISO9001 and ISO14001. Degree in relevant field. SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED Capable of creating QMS, procedures and documents to ensure Quality Assurance. Able to carry out improvement investigations to improve the quality of products or participate in investigations to correct defaults. Manages any team members. Ensures the site meets ISO or similar standard benchmark requirements. Capable of undertaking supplier audits. Can implement new quality processes and systems where appropriate. Systematic approach to problem solving. Strong communication skills. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Experience of developing and maintaining a QMS. Experience leading a Quality team and developing team members’ understanding of quality management. Experience implementing ISO standards, or similar. Experience of leading in the investigation and correction of defects and associated lessons learned / process correction cycle. Quality Management Experience in a production company of at least 3 years. Experience using quality management tools and producing relevant statistics and reports. TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS Approximately 10 % annually, potentially globally. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Business Danish and English is required.
