LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) Specialist is responsible for evaluating the effects that a product has on the environment during its entire life cycle, thereby increasing resource-use efficiency. The LCA Specialist will report directly to the Global Sales Manager of the Business Area. Responsibilities Develop LCA models for products, services or organizations according to international standards, using specific calculation software (Simapro) Develop product and process EPDs (Environmental product Declarations) Co-ordinate information requests for the development and maintenance of LCA calculation models to the various internal functions (production, supply chain, purchasing) Communicate effectively with Managers the results of LCA studies Organizationโ€™s focal point for LCA tools and models Prepare annual audit reports and required documentation to maintain the EPD process. Technical Knowledge Knowledge of Simapro software Commitment to sustainability Knowledge of the LCA approach, ISO 14040, 14044, 14067 and management systems Previous experience in preparing LCA and CF studies is a plus Ability to communicate technical contents Attention to details, passion for numbers and curiosity for experimenting scenarios The role requires direct and autonomous communication in English both internally and externally. Good knowledge and understanding of spoken and written English is essential. Fluent English Fluent Italian Job requirements Degree in technical-scientific subjects (e.g. chemistry, engineering, environmental engineering) At least 3 years of experience in similar roles Basic knowledge of chemistry, preferably in the plastics sector Previous experience with production processes and logistics networks.
