In this role you’ll play a key part in the Purchase to Pay process making sure that all invoices and expenses are paid quickly and accurately, while also making sure that you accurately record all data and resolve any queries. In our Accounts Payable team, you’ll make sure that high-volume, multi-currency purchase orders are matched to invoices and accurately posted (in accordance with all Italian rules, regulations and group policies). You’ll also make sure that all ledgers are well maintained with supplier statements reconciled on a monthly basis. You’ll also monitor and review vendors – making sure they’re accurately set up within ERP. Resolve any internal or external, payment or invoice queries, and provide information and data for month end accrual process. You‘ll be specifically responsible for recording all bank statement payments in the General Ledger and reconciling designated supplier-related accounts on a monthly basis. This is a vital role as part of the European Finance Team, where you’ll also provide support with related accounting requirements. Qualifications/Experience You’re probably an Accounts Payable Specialist already, with a good understanding of General Ledger. It’s essential that you have hands-on experience in Italian Accounts Payable processes, including a solid knowledge of Italian VAT requirements and general ledger management. Good communications skills are key, and you’ll need written and verbal ability, in both Italian and English, to a professional work standard. You’re comfortable working with tight deadlines, in an organised and fully traceable manner. Location/Benefits: This is a part-time position, working 20hrs a week, preferably 4 hours a day across 5 days a week. However, we can be flexible with hours/days for the right person. This is a hybrid role working on average, 3 days a week at our Desio office (Via Nuova Valassina, 88, 20832 Desio), and 2 days a week from home.
