The Role The Team lead is responsible for managing strategic and tactical tasks related to ensuring the procurement of staff augmentation and business services are in line with the standards and strategic prioritization of ELC. This role requires a deep understanding of different business services and temporary labor needs and industry standards, vendor agreements and the ability to extract value through a governance and controls process. The team lead will review and revise escalated demands as well as design and enforce the overall process to ensure that ELC maximizes benefits while minimizing financial expenditure and exposure. The team lead will work with the business and other leaders to update and ensure the process for reviewing these demands are in line with the latest of policy and procurement strategy as we often pivot our needs and will need the flow of review to remain dynamic. Responsibilities Working with Procurement and business leaders to ensure that the policies and strategies of the company are dynamically implemented into the process of demand management as this is the first lie of enforcement for business service categories. Working with Procurement Category leads as well as business leaders to update the process’s recommendation guidelines as this team will need to remain industry relevant. Enforcing ELC policy through both management of incoming demands and the review and management of existing engagements through the company. Analyzing and interpreting data sets to support decision-making. Designing, developing, and maintaining decision support reports and documents. Collaborating with various departments and internal stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver relevant solutions within ELC policy. Creating & presenting decision support materials for senior management. Review strategic and tactical vendor agreements and revise as necessary to ensure ELC is maximizing benefits while minimizing financial expenditure / exposure. Recommend contract revisions to improve language and reduce gaps/inconsistencies. Orchestrate first line analysis of Temp Labor demands. Prepare for final review of manager before DocuSign submission. Includes escalation to leadership when red flags are caught. Oversee governance activity and ensure it is properly documented. Manage contract approval packages presented by Indirect Procurement and/or Finance for execution. Ensure Business Partners are aware of vendor governance tasks/deliverables which are approaching deadlines and assist where possible . Gather and analyze market data on a regular basis relative to the appropriate category and region to properly gauge and evaluate market and industry conditions applied to determine the sourcing strategy. Maintaining agreements database, tracking contracts’ expiry dates and assuring the extensions are signed in a due time. Requirements Minimum 5 years’ experience in different indirect procurement roles. Extensive experience with Service Now and managing process flows and approval flows. Prior experience preparing decision support materials and helping to explain decision making. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple partners. Ability to influence & motivate peers & partners. Ability to think communicate effectively. Understanding of Governance, Controls and Policy enforcement. Experience developing and creating reports. Experience working with geographically dispersed team & customer base. Expertise in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Service NOW, Ariba, & SAP.
