Job Description DP World is currently recruiting for a Project Manager who is a critical lynchpin in a complex environment across multiple functions, levels (Strategic, Tactical, Operational) in DP World Europe. This role is based working from one of our HUB’s in Europe (Rotterdam, London or Duisburg). Geography & Industry Growth, E2E Value Proposition, Maximize value from existing assets and Win on Sustainability are the 4 Execution Drivers that are combined in the i28 Project. This Project Manager is working on all 4 Execution Drivers, supporting the different departments and teams. You will be guiding the teams, provide governance guidance and support in connecting different business units and pillars in the organization. The Project Manager is accountable to successfully launch the respective initiative on time and on/under budget About The Role How you will contribute The i28 Project Manager will be responsible for enabling the successful Design and Execution of Projects that will deliver the ambition across 4 Strategy Execution Drivers: Geography & Industry Growth; E2E Value Proposition; Maximize value from existing assets; and Win on Sustainability. This includes all aspects of a Project Lifecycle – Initiation, Define, Build, Deploy and Transition as well as Governance, Monitoring, Risk Prevention and Reporting. Within the i28 program the i28 Project Manager will be part of the i28 Central Team for the coordination, supervision and day-to-day oversight of various i28 initiatives or projects. Depending on size & complexity of the i28 initiatives or projects, the i28 Project Manager will support 1 or more initiatives. During the design or implementation phase, the i28 Project Manager will coordinate, mentor and work with the respective Initiative Captains and/or Implementation Project Managers who will be responsible for their specific initiatives within i28. The i28 Project Manager will contribute with his/her experience and project lessons learned to the building and continuous improvement of the DP World Europe i28 program. Within the i28 program the i28 Project Manager will work with multiple stakeholders and stakeholder groups. Reports directly to the i28 Program Director and will be a member of the i28 Central Team, working closely and ongoing with the i28 Steering Committee, Executive Sponsors and Initiative Captains who will be ultimately accountable for the successful delivery of the i28 Roadmap. Project Management Responsible for the delivery, in conjunction with Sponsors and Captains, of assigned Initiatives/Projects in either Design or Execution (Delivery) as part of the overall i28 Program in DP World Europe. Responsible for the Monitoring, Tracking, Reporting and Communication of the respective initiatives as part of the i28 Central Team. Build and Manage Stakeholder Relationships which should be coordinated, managed, and aligned on an ongoing basis. Coordinate with Consultant Partners, the day-to-day execution of the i28 Program including preparing and presenting at, Central Team Meetings and Initiative Meetings. Driving proactive issue resolution, escalating where necessary. Monitor Program vs Resource requirements to proactively manage potential resource constraints in delivery of the Program. Where required, mentor the i28 Project Teams (Initiative Captains, Financial Counterparts) to trouble shoot, problem solve, resolution of issues, escalating where necessary. Support/Implement Continuous Improvement on the i28 Governance/Approach by reviewing existing processes, tools, and methods, and identifying areas for improvement. What You Will Bring A bachelor’s degree in project management, business or engineering, or related field. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. A qualification within the logistics domain is highly desirable. A minimum of 5 years+ experience in project & program management English language on a professional level in writing and speaking required, other languages beneficial. You are highly proficient in the full Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio. You have experience with one or more project management tools like, MS Project, Sensei IQ, Monday.com, Jira.
