Department: Finance Office Employment Type: Permanent – Full Time Location: Timișoara Description The Accounts Payable Team Lead is part of our global corporate Finance team, which is the beating heart of all financial management and operations at Human8. Our teams are currently based in Ghent (Belgium), Manchester (U.K.) and Timisoara (Romania). Your role is to oversee and support the AR team with responsibility for providing AR functions in a timely manner. Together with the team and supported by our Accountants, you will be accountable for EMEA entities within the Human8 group. Please note, our offices are closed for the holiday break, we will start reviewing applications January 6th* Responsibilities Organize, supervise and monitor AP team activities efficiently and effectively. Drive performance for team targets/KPIs and manage individual performance accordingly. Act as on the job coach for AP team members. Regularly re-assess the allocation of responsibility for specific tasks in order to ensure the team objectives and month-end deadlines are met. Identify and implement process and system improvement that will increase the overall efficiency and accuracy. Deliver month end close, monitoring all activities, ensuring the AP team delivery month end on time. Develop and maintain excellent working relationship with the external suppliers, accounting team and other business partners. Bring Cash and Company credit card process into AP team (currently with the accounting team). Work closely with the AR Team Lead on month end intercompany flow. Ensure bank statements are processed and reconciled on a daily basis. Qualifications Technical knowledge Have advanced knowledge of all the tools used for performing the key responsibilities. Can put knowledge on (new) tools into practice. Able to explain the innovations to the team when it comes to technical implications. Excellent knowledge and experience in using of the following is recommended: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Power-Point). Have advanced knowledge of Excel (using financial formulas, power query and creating Finance dashboard). Excellent knowledge of GL accounting. Language knowledge Manage English at a professional level (verbal/ writing) and able to have a fluent and accurate conversation. Education level Bachelor’s degree preferred (e.g. Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or similar) Experience of working in a Shared Service centre or similar working environment Show more Show less
