Main areas of responsibility : Defines, validates and maintains the Wave Soldering, Wave Selective and Conformal Coating processes ; Define / release work instructions in accordance with process requirements; Trains the technical trainers when introducing a new product in manufacturing line; Ensures the training for the technicians when a new equipment is introduced in the production line; Fully understand product specification; Run DFM, DFA analysis for the product in discussion; Understand key product characteristics; Fully understand process requirements for the project; Participate in the PFMEA activities, input PFMEA; Participate and give feedback in the design reviews meetings, phase reviews meetings, feasibility assessments; Define the process validation plan (Cp, Cpk studies, together with the PE, QE and customer), execute the process validation activity, define and implement corrective actions if necessarily; Define process control gates and methodology, propose SMART targets for each control; Follow up daily on process issues; define process improvement actions and corrective actions in order to continuously improve the manufacturing processes; Provide inputs for pre / post-build reports when necessary; Creates programs, thermal profiles; Orders spare parts / consumables for the equipment in use; Candidate profile University degree in technical field (Electro nics, Mechanics, Automatics) + 3 years of experience in electronics manufacturing + previous experience in Automotive industry Excellent logical thinking Good ability to transpose processes into procedures Excellent training skills Excellent communication skills, all management levels Mature manner of tackling a problem/ special situation English advanced level Note Kimball Electronics is an equal opportunity employer and gives fair chances to all candidates to the role of interest.
