About AOMU: We are seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for a startup in the field of aromapsychology, which is celebrating its first successful year. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in scaling young FMCG brands. The startup has secured future funding for expansion and offers an initial range of functional inhalation sticks made from 100% organic essential oils. The brand, products, and online presence are developed by a team of professionals with experience from leading emerging brands in the Czech Republic. Explore www.aomu.cz Job Responsibilities: Strategic Brand Identity Planning: Develop a long-term strategy for brand growth and identity. Ensure consistent brand communication across all channels. Team Leadership and Mentoring: Lead and train the brand and marketing team, fostering talent growth and development. Mentor junior team members to support their career development. Collaboration with the Product Team: Work closely with the product manager to develop and improve products that meet customer needs and enhance the brand. Contribute to packaging design and other visual product elements. Influencer Marketing Management: Coordinate with an external influencer agency to plan monthly campaigns. Approve strategies and recommend influencers suitable for the brand. Communication Strategy Planning and Implementation: Collaborate on creating communication plans, coordinating content, email campaigns, and copywriting. Assign tasks to internal and external partners (e.g., copywriters, graphic designers). Customer Feedback Monitoring: Track customer feedback and alert relevant team members to issues while recommending solutions. Integrate feedback insights into marketing strategies and share information with the team as needed. PR and Event Collaboration: Actively participate in planning and executing PR activities and events. Website and E-Shop Development: Enhance content to boost conversion rates and improve user experience. Reporting and Data Analysis: Provide weekly reports on marketing campaign results. Analyze campaign performance and collaborate on optimization and evaluation. Budget and Financial Planning: Manage the budget for brand and marketing activities, monitor expenses, and optimize costs for maximum ROI. Trend Research and Inspiration Sharing: Conduct research on social media trends and campaign performance. Share inspiration and new insights with the team. Copywriting and Text Preparation: Lead a team of internal and external editors. Production Coordination: Plan and organize photo and video production. Oversee the creation of materials that align with the brand identity and communication goals.
