Tactical Buyer (Indirect Material and Service Purchasing Specialist) is responsible for realization of sourcing requests, purchasing of indirect material, equipment and services including setting preparation and realization of tenders, negotiation, evaluation and savings generating. What will be your responsibilities? Realization of shopping carts/requests on purchase in Ariba SAP system. Setting/Realization of saving plan within assigned categories (IT and Corporate Services) and locations. Approving process administration. Support of overall Strategic Supplier Development activities in line with the global category and supplier strategy to continuously improve the performance of strategic suppliers in terms of quality, delivery, productivity, and total cost. Reporting of achieved savings in SW tool Wave. Working collaboratively with key stakeholders, requestors, Purchasing and Accounts Payable, communication with suppliers/internal customers. What qualification, skills and personal competencies are necessary for this position? High school education, Bachelor’s degree or comparable qualification in Business Administration or a related field is benefit. Fluent English both verbal and written, German is of advantage. Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier relationship management practices are preferred. Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint). Proven knowledge and experience in indirect purchasing especially in IT and Corporate Services commodities. Experience with SAP (Ariba module) is a benefit. Strong communication, negotiation skills, purchasing skills and customer orientation. Willingness to take over the responsibility for your decision with an impact on other colleagues, costs, etc. Self-driven, open-minded and team-player person.
