Position Overview As Vice President of Finance & IT, you will take on a pivotal leadership role in shaping Caljan’s financial and technological future during a period of ambitious growth and global expansion. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will act as a proactive and trusted business partner to the executive management team, delivering insights and recommendations that influence critical decisions. With an international scope, this role involves leading finance and IT teams across multiple countries and overseeing global financial operations. You will be instrumental in implementing and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) as part of Caljan’s commitment to building a best-in-class digital infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Act as a proactive financial business partner, collaborating closely with the CEO and executive management team to provide insights, challenge assumptions, and drive fact-based decision-making. Shape the financial and IT strategies to align with Caljan’s business objectives and Latour’s long-term vision for growth and sustainability. Build and maintain strong relationships with international stakeholders, ensuring alignment of financial and IT priorities across the organization. International Financial Oversight Lead all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and forecasting, delivering actionable insights that drive performance and value creation. Oversee global financial operations across subsidiaries in Europe, UK, and North America, ensuring robust compliance with local and international regulations. Champion initiatives to standardize financial processes and improve operational efficiencies across all entities, leveraging global best practices. Provide strategic guidance on risks, opportunities, and investment priorities to support sustainable growth. Preparing financial reporting and participating in Caljan board meetings ERP Implementation and IT Leadership Lead the ongoing implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), ensuring a seamless transition that enhances global operational visibility and decision-making. Oversee Caljan’s IT infrastructure across multiple countries, ensuring it is secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. Drive the adoption of digital transformation initiatives, positioning IT as a strategic enabler for growth and efficiency. Proactive Business Partnering Provide thought leadership and data-driven recommendations at the executive and board levels, influencing strategy development and execution. Collaborate with operational leaders across functions to ensure that financial insights translate into tangible business outcomes. Actively engage with ownership, ensuring Caljan’s financial performance supports the group’s broader goals. Global Team Leadership Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing finance and IT organization with employees across multiple countries, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across the global finance and IT teams to ensure continuous improvement. Drive employee engagement and professional growth, ensuring the team is equipped to thrive in a dynamic, international environment. Candidate Profile Experience & Expertise Proven success in a senior financial leadership role with international scope, preferably in manufacturing. Significant experience in proactive financial business partnering, with a demonstrated ability to influence executive decisions and shape strategic outcomes. A track record of managing ERP implementation projects, ideally with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). Strong understanding of global financial regulations, compliance, and multi-entity reporting. Hands-on experience in leading geographically dispersed teams across finance and IT functions. Education Advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (e.g., MBA, Cand.merc., or equivalent). Certifications in IT management is advantageous . Skills Exceptional strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to link financial data to broader organizational objectives. Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with proficiency in leveraging technology for decision-making. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in Danish and English. Proven ability to manage complexity, prioritize effectively, and drive results in a fast-paced, global environment.
