Hotel Operations Manager Position Overview: DANAOS DMC Travel Group, a leading company in the tourism and hospitality sector in Greece, proudly representing major European tour operators such as ALLTOURS, PROMOSEJOUR, and AVIATION LINKS, serving over 350,000 visitors annually, is currently seeking to recruit three (3) skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Managers to join our team, taking charge of daily operations at our premier destinations in Greece: Evia Island, Eretria Peloponnese, Kalamata area Peloponnese, Kyparissia area Each role is integral to ensuring the seamless functioning of all hotel departments while delivering outstanding hospitality services. As an operations Manager, you will oversee key aspects such as staff management (in close collaboration with Group HR), financial performance monitoring, achieving profitability targets, and maintaining exceptional service quality. This pivotal role reports directly to the Group General Manager. Key Responsibilities: Operations Oversight: Monitor and coordinate the daily activities of all departments to ensure efficient and seamless operations. Department Coordination: Collaborate with department heads (front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, etc.) to uphold high service standards and achieve common goals. Quality Management: Ensure the provision of outstanding hospitality with attention to detail and consistent guest satisfaction. Staff Management: Lead, train, and evaluate staff to foster a productive and collaborative work environment, in co-operation with Group HR. Financial Supervision: Participate in budget management, monitor departmental performance, and ensure cost control. Guest Relations Management: Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and operational regulations. Strategic Support: Assist the management team in implementing strategies to enhance profitability and guest experiences. Service Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve hotel operations and services. Requirements: Bachelorโ€™s degree in hospitality, Tourism, or a related field. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an operations Manager or in a similar role within a 4-5* hotel. Excellent command of English. Proficiency in other languages, particularly French, is desirable. Strong proficiency in MS Office and hotel management systems. Leadership, organizational, and time management skills. Customer-focused with attention to detail and a commitment to quality service. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, even under pressure. Strong work ethic and reliability. Benefits: Competitive salary package based on qualifications and experience.
