What You ‘ll Be Do ing:Participate in the entire aircraft design and development cycle of state-of-the-art fixed-wing small and tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) for defense and security applications, including certificat ion.Interact w ith:Structural and stability aeronautical engineers to perform trade-off studies concerning weight buildup, planform layout, performance characteristics, etc.CFD analysts, to specify requirements for both low- and high-fidelity analyses and evaluate the resu lts.Compile and release aeronautical performance reports throughout all aircraft design pha ses.Analyze the results of flight tests and release the corresponding repo rts.Interface with stakeholders in design reviews, test reports and project meeti ngs. D esired:Proven working experience on planform layout and aerodynamic perfo rmance.Understanding of or experienc e with:CFD techniques and tools.Fixed wing aircraft stability and c ontrol.Variable geometry fixed win g UAVs.Good knowledge in aircraft avionics, sensors and subs ystems.Familiarity with safety and airwort hiness.Knowledge and understanding of product development methodologies, such as the V -model.Work experience with SIEMENS NX or DASSAULT CA TIA V5. Applicants must be EU Citizens to meet Defense security requi rements.
