For an important international industrial group, a leader in its sector, we are looking for the position of: Plant Production Director Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the candidate will have overall responsibility for the production site and its operational processes as a key member of the Management Team . Responsibility Lead all safety activities of the plant, ensuring a 100% safe environment, compliance with regulations, and fostering a culture of safety. Drive operational excellence by meeting production targets, quality standards, and budget requirements while implementing lean management and continuous improvement processes (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen). Oversee strategic and operational planning, project implementation to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, and cross-departmental collaboration with sales, purchasing, engineering, and quality assurance. Monitor and analyze key production metrics (KPIs) such as output, quality, OTD (On-Time Delivery), scrap rate, and safety performance, taking action to align with financial and operational objectives. Ensure 100% customer satisfaction by delivering on lead time, on-time delivery, and product quality expectations. Manage operations in line with the Groupโ€™s strategy while leading, motivating, and developing the team to achieve high performance and engagement. Profile Engineering degree, ideally with a focus on production or mechanical/casting engineering, and several years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector (preferably metalworking). Proven leadership experience in managing large teams and driving cultural and operational transformations. Expertise in lean management methods and a track record of successful project implementation (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen, TPM). Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on mentality to address complex challenges and deliver results. Excellent communication skills in Italian and English, combined with assertiveness, resilience, and an energetic, passionate approach to change management.
