Pacific International Executive Search has been exclusively retained to assist a world leader in the pharmaceutical industry. We are seeking an experienced Financial Director to oversee the financial operations and performance of multiple production plants across Italy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing finance, controlling, and business strategy, with proven leadership capabilities in managing financial teams in a production setting. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Leadership : Develop financial strategies aligned with corporate goals, optimize plant operations, and enhance profitability. Budgeting and Cost Control : Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost-efficiency initiatives; oversee financial performance and adherence to budgets. Reporting and Compliance : Ensure accurate financial reporting, manage audits, and uphold compliance with local and corporate standards. Operational and Team Support : Collaborate with plant managers on financial objectives and mentor finance teams to foster accountability and improvement. Stakeholder Management : Serve as a key liaison between corporate headquarters and plant operations, maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications: Education & Certifications : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields; CPA or CMA preferred. Experience : Over 10 years in finance, with at least 5 years in manufacturing/production; expertise in financial controlling and multi-site team leadership. Skills : Strong analytical abilities, advanced ERP and Excel proficiency, effective communication, and leadership. Languages : Fluency in English and Italian required. Flexibility : Willingness to travel to production sites in Italy as needed.
