Key responsibilities As a Student Assistant in Indirect Category Management you will join our Travel Management team. Your role will be to primarily support and develop our internal and external deliveries. Your tasks will range from internal category analysis and business support to project management support for both internal and external projects. Task you can expect to work on are: Map and analyse travel data on current spend patterns and identifying cost drivers and opportunities across categories Create and optimize dashboards for internal stakeholders and Maersk leadership on travel spend Assist strategic decision making through data analysis and daily feedback from stakeholders Servicing internal stakeholders on various operational ad-hoc requests related to travel activities Assist with the Meetings & Events category globally Implementation or re-implementation of designated Travel Agency in new/existing markets Assist with – and as you develop – independently execute various tenders and projects You will have significant responsibility from the start and are expected to execute and deliver on time and with a great sense of detail. You are: On the last year of your Bachelor studies or the first year of your Master studies in Service Management, Tourism and Hospitality Management, Supply Chain Management or similar (minimum 2 years remaining) Excellent written, oral, and formal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects, adjust priorities as needed and meet deadlines Mastering Excel based analysis and able to transform conclusions into sharp key messages Comfortable working with PowerPoint and PowerBI and interested in being able to develop and deliver clear written messages Strong professional interest in the Travel Industry.
