The Accountant for Management Accounting ensures timely, accurate and compliant service delivery for all Management Accounting transactions in accordance with performance and quality standards defined in relevant service level agreements. Major Tasks And Responsibilities Of Position During the month you will be responsible for the maintenance of the cost objects using SAP. This means adjusting and checking the existing setup in SAP, and maintaining new cost allocations based on the request from stakeholders following our internal guidelines. Besides cost allocation, you will also be responsible to calculate the price of new products using SAP First three days in a month, during financial closing, you will be responsible for cost allocation from cost objects to income statement and to ensure all our business figures are assigned to Profit centers relevant for reporting Once per year you will take care for recalculation of material prices used for all Covestro goods You would periodically support and assist in different projects which aim to improve efficiency and effectiveness of Management Accounting processes All activities are performed in SAP, with support of various ticketing tools through which we receive request for change from our stakeholders We work in close relation with Controlling, as with our closing activities we directly affect financial figures used for reporting For all activities we provide internal training and continuous support from the other team members. Qualifications Degree in Economics or Business Administration preferably major in accounting. Approximately 2-3 years of experience in the area of Accounting. Some experience in Management Accounting processes in a complex and international business environment of advantage. Basic knowledge of Finance and Accounting end-to-end processes. Work experience with SAP as a plus. Self-disciplined with ability to work independently and under pressure. Ability to perform well in both individual and group tasks Ability to adapt to new culture and people. Strong service orientation. Being able to adapt to the changing needs of the business and stakeholders. Strong communication skills Business proficient English The minimum offered salary is 1600 EUR.
