Are you excited about transforming the way we bank by using the latest technology? We are too! About the job: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Avaloq Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As an Avaloq Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Avaloq core banking system infrastructure (ACP and ACPR along with its other components such as integration server, smart client implementation, archival, CCM, Airlock integrations, etc). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, performance, and security of the infrastructure, supporting critical banking operations and delivering an exceptional user experience. This role requires a strong understanding of Avaloq software and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Design and implement the infrastructure for Avaloq core banking system, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into infrastructure design and deployment plans. Install, configure, and maintain Avaloq software components and related infrastructure, including application servers, databases, and network configurations. Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize infrastructure components for improved efficiency and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, working closely with technical teams and vendors to implement timely and effective solutions. Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with security standards and industry best practices. Plan and execute system upgrades and patches, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors as necessary. Implement disaster recovery and business continuity measures to minimize downtime and ensure system resiliency. Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference. Stay up to date with the latest Avaloq releases, industry trends, and emerging technologies, and assess their potential impact on the infrastructure. You: Bachelor’s degree in a related field with more than 3 years of experience on Avaloq infrastructure Proven experience as an infrastructure engineer, with a focus on the Avaloq core banking system and Avaloq Core Platform Reference (ACPPR) Strong understanding of Avaloq software components, architecture, and infrastructure requirements. Understanding of how your infrastructure is connected with the Avaloq VPN for development and deployments activities Proficiency in deploying and managing Avaloq software on Linux and Windows platforms. Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef). Familiarity with database administration, particularly Oracle and MS SQL Server. Understanding of networking principles and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Good communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Proactive mindset, able to anticipate infrastructure needs and propose innovative solutions. Relevant certifications (e.g., Avaloq Certified Professional) are a plus. Salary for the role starts at 3500€ gross, final offer will depend on candidate´s skills and experience.
