Role Description We are seeking a Senior AWS DevOps and Infrastructure Engineer for a remote position within our platform engineering team. This team collaborates with a client leading agrotech robotics research and development in Silicon Valley, California. Our client, an innovative startup backed by a major machinery manufacturing company, has been applying robotics and computer vision machine learning to groundbreaking agrotech and construction use cases for over a decade. Their mission is to develop safer and more sustainable solutions. The platform engineering team is responsible for building and maintaining a large-scale Data and ML Platform. This platform integrates targeted in-house services and vendor solutions into a comprehensive end-to-end product development framework. This is a fully remote position, with occasional opportunities for onsite travel to California. During these visits, you’ll collaborate with the broader team, engage with our on-premise GPU infrastructure, and witness the robots in action. With significant growth on the horizon, you will join a team of passionate experts on a demanding but impactful journey! As part of this team, your role will involve: Developing internal tools and integrations. Evolving and enhancing extensive CI/CD pipelines. Automating processes, including tenant onboarding and configuration. Supporting solutions for hardware-in-the-loop testing. Building a hybrid compute infrastructure abstraction layer across on-premise and cloud regions. Required Experience and Skills: Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools. Extensive experience with AWS (essential). Expert-level familiarity with Kubernetes. Extensive programming experience in Python (essential); knowledge of Golang is an advantage. Familiarity with the design and operation of data pipelines and machine learning pipelines in production. Understanding of general IT and cybersecurity best practices, including data privacy requirements. Strong problem-solving abilities and skills for troubleshooting complex issues. Solid English communication skills for collaborating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across teams. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, well-documented code. Preferred Experience and Skills: Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Atlantis. Experience working with large-scale data pipelines in Databricks. Familiarity with tools such as Airflow, Kubeflow, Prometheus, and Grafana. Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer. Show more Show less
