Join our team as a Direct Buyer ! What Youโ€™ll Do: Leading Supplier Selection: Drive the selection process for suppliers in line with our commodity panel strategy. Owning Project Deliverables: Manage cost, APQP, milestones, and compliance for sourced components, ensuring smooth transitions from prototypes to mass production. Identifying Opportunities: Suggest resourcing opportunities and contribute to VE ideas for GBE projects. Executing Actions: Implement VE, resourcing, and logistics productivity actions in collaboration with the commodity organization. Managing Changes: Handle post-SOP engineering changes with suppliers and secure savings in the first year after award. Handling Issues: Address logistics, capacity, and quality issues as the first point of contact for plant supply chain and quality teams. Negotiating: Validate and negotiate charge-back amounts with suppliers. Implementing Plans: Execute procurement mitigation action plans and define first-level actions for gap closure. Supporting Compliance: Collect information related to trade, compliance, and sustainability. Driving Productivity: Achieve productivity objectives and track supplier performance. Providing Feedback: Ensure action plan tracking and provide feedback to the commodity team What We Need: Experience: Min 3 years experience in Procurement Education: Bachelor degree preferably in Engineering, Economics or Business Administration. Language Skills: Advanced English proficiency.
