Job Title: Cybersecurity Consultant Role: Be at the forefront of cybersecurity governance and compliance as a Cybersecurity Consultant in a dynamic, cutting-edge environment for a global leader of telecommunications. Responsibilities: Conduct security assessments for new applications, evaluating risks and ensuring safe transitions into production. Develop, implement, and enhance policy frameworks, including ISO27001 and NIS2 compliance. Engage with stakeholders to address gaps in frameworks and drive company-wide compliance efforts. Act as a consultative partner, collaborating with teams to manage projects and promote security awareness. Stay current on cybersecurity trends and best practices, applying them to risk management and policy initiatives. Skills/Must Have: Cybersecurity experience, particularly in risk management and policy work. At least one relevant certification (Ideally CISSP, but others will be considered!). Strong communication skills for engaging with non-technical stakeholders. Collaborative mindset, with the ability to thrive in a meeting-heavy environment. NATO or EU nationality (must meet security clearance requirements). Nice to Have: CISSP certification. 1–2 years of technical experience with a clear desire to transition into policy work. Background in Big 4 consulting, IT audit, or GRC roles. Experience in the telco industry or related sectors. Location: Bucharest, Romania (Pipera area): Hybrid model (50% office-based, 50% remote). Easy access via subway, with on-site parking available on a first-come, first-served basis. Salary & Benefits: Up to 10,000 RON/month net (we can flex for the right person). We will also consider more junior applicants at a lower salary banding! 15% annual performance bonus. Private medical insurance. Meal tickets worth 30 RON/day.
