The eCommerce content specialist is responsible for the creation, curation, optimization and monitoring of online content across key platforms (e.g. Amazon, Wayfair, company-owned sites, and other), for select FBG brands. The role focuses on the development and management of online content that is SEO optimized, enhances the customer experience, drives traffic, and boosts engagement across our eCommerce listings to deliver growth. The position will report to the eCommerce Content Manager and will work across multiple internal departments to complete required projects. Essential duties and responsibilities include: 1.Content Creation and Management: Develop and implement content strategies that align with marketing targets. Create compelling product descriptions, blog posts, website copy, and other online content. Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search engines and user experience. 2.SEO and Keyword Optimization: Work within provided software platforms to conduct keyword research and integrate those keywords to write and edit copy that aligns with the brandโs message and drives organic ranking with online retailers. Research and implement SEO best practices in the content to improve search rankings. 3.Content Updates and Maintenance: Regularly update product information, images, and other content to ensure accuracy and relevance. Monitor and respond to customer reviews and feedback on product pages. Provide weekly reporting against metrics to show marked growth 4.Collaborative Projects: Partner with internal cross-functional teams (Cataloging, Sales, Product Management, Operations, Customer Service, Marketing Creative Services) to build and manage new item listings for online retailers and to curate and edit existing product listings that drive measurable online growth. Work closely with the marketing team, designers, and developers to ensure content is optimized and aligned with overall brand strategy. Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to gather insights and improve content based on customer needs and feedback. Assist in the development and execution of the online merchandising plan, including promotions, cross-sells and up-sells, email merchandising, and mark down plans on company-owned sites and approved marketplaces. Implement focused merchandise assortments by category and continuously evaluate, analyze, and adjust assortments, variations and bundles based on performance and sales trends. 5.Performance Analysis: Analyze website traffic and user engagement metrics to understand content performance. Use analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of content and make data-driven decisions to improve future content strategies. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to content publishing. The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education and experience: BA/BS in a related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience developing best-in-class copy and content experiences for eCommerce Experience in content strategy and proficiency in writing, editing, proofreading, and project management Strong understanding of SEO principles and keyword research tools. Proficiency with content management systems (e.g., Salsify, WordPress, Shopify). Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Must be a hands-on self-starter, with a sense of urgency and capable of delivering results in a fast-paced environment Strong proficiency in Microsoft office Bilingual Automotive experience is a plus Show more Show less
