emagine is currently looking for a Technical Advisor for a client in the financial sector. The client are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Technical Advisor to support the client in managing and extending its repository of technology standards. The role involves linking adopted technology standards to the reference taxonomy provided by the scanning tool vendor (Technopedia) and enhancing the technology menu by incorporating standards for technologies currently in use but not yet adopted. Key Responsibilities: Align technology standards with the reference taxonomy from Technopedia. Extend and maintain the technology menu repository by incorporating technology standards for new and existing technologies. Ensure accurate documentation and consistent management of technology standards. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities in the technology standards repository. Required Knowledge and Experience: Knowledge: Broad understanding of a wide range of technologies and technology standards/guidelines. Familiarity with taxonomy and classification principles in technology management. Skills and Mindset: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Methodical and meticulous approach to administrative tasks. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly SharePoint (user level, not developer). Experience with MEGA Hopex (user level, not developer). Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working with technology standards in a large organization. Familiarity with Technopedia or similar scanning tools. Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
