To meet current corporate needs, we would like to bring a highly motivated Deputy Operations Manager Designer Outlet Athens Spata Our new colleague will be reporting to the Operations Manager of Designer Outlet Athens (DOA) for the effective daily operation of the Center by organizing, planning and addressing the needs and the procedures of the Operations Department. Indicatively, the Deputy Operations Manager will assume the following tasks: Coordinate the daily operation of the shopping center, including the parking area Effectively co-manage with and develop the Technical Team of the Shopping Center Support the Operations Manager in negotiating and conducting contracts with service providers, suppliers and contractors, including gardening, waste management, pest control, building repairs, procurement of equipment and consumables Support in the drafting and implementation of the yearly operations budgets (invoice control, cost centers, etc) Supervise effectively Safety & Security, Cleaning, Technical, Landscaping and other service providers to ensure the delivery of services on high standards Ensure that all installations, machinery etc. are effectively and efficiently maintained by third-party contractors and in-house personnel Monitor and challenge the safety standards of the Shopping Center daily. Communicate with tenants about all technical and operational issues that arise daily, as well as during the tenancies’ refurbishment, construction and operation. Care that relationships with tenants focus on customer satisfaction, ensuring that all relevant procedures regarding smooth and safe operations are being followed effectively Challenge the allocation of resources, address mispractices and initiate good practices for a greater cause (e.g. green policies) You will be a successful candidate for our job opening if you can identify yourself with the following criteria: Academic Qualifications: University degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/Civil Engineering. Postgraduate studies (eg. MSc/MBA) would be considered an asset Fluency in Greek and English language Proficient MS Office user Professional Experience: 5 – 7 years of relevant professional experience Prior experience in facility management, building operation and/or construction will be considered a plus Experience in laying out reports by converting business requirements into numerical data On a personal side, the ideal candidate: Has strong analytical, reporting, problem-solving and critical thinking skills Is goal-oriented Has excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills Has excellent communication skills and can work with a diverse group of people by adjusting communication style accordingly Uses initiative and works effectively under pressure Sets priorities, handles multiple tasks simultaneously and meets deadlines Our Company offers: Our vision is to bring to life the largest urban regeneration project in Europe.
