Job Description: The System Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing electric systems for electric and hybrid vehicles. The role requires advanced skills in managing and integrating e-motors, battery packs, BMS, DC-DC converters, and auxiliary systems, with a strong focus on system reliability, efficiency, and safety. Main Responsibilities: Design and development of complex systems for electric vehicles, including e-motors, battery packs, BMS, and DC-DC converters. Integration of electronic and electrical components to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Definition and analysis of system requirements for electric propulsion components and energy management. Collaboration with design teams to optimize system architectures and integrate auxiliary components (cooling systems, thermal management, etc.). Support in system validation and testing, both on prototypes and production vehicles. Monitor system performance and identify solutions to improve efficiency and sustainability. Coordinate with suppliers and external partners to ensure quality and compliance with regulatory standards. Requirements: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related fields. At least 10 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in the automotive sector and electric vehicles. Advanced knowledge of e-motors, battery packs, and BMS, including their management algorithms. Experience in the design and development of DC-DC converters and auxiliary systems for automotive applications. Proficiency in simulation software (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice). Knowledge of safety and quality standards in the automotive sector (ISO 26262, IEC 61508, etc.). Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with different company functions. Excellent written and spoken English skills. Preferred Skills: Experience in managing complex systems for electric vehicles. Knowledge of advanced technologies in e-mobility.
