Our pioneering WindEYE and WindVISION LiDAR systems are used worldwide by leading wind turbine manufacturers and major wind farm owners. These advanced optical units, utilizing light reflection and the Doppler effect principles, equip wind turbine controllers with precise wind measurements. This is all achieved in the demanding conditions at the top of the nacelle. About the job: We seek a skilled and detail-oriented PTA (Production Technical Assistant) employee to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in testing, troubleshooting, and implementing effective solutions for optical components, PCB boards, and fine mechanical components. You will work closely with R&D, production, suppliers, and others to secure and optimize our components. There will be development and construction of new products and adaptation and further development of existing products. You are part of a production team, and over time you will have full responsibility for optimization and implementation of finished solutions in all stages of production. We do not expect you to have skills within all our components, so you will receive the necessary training for our entire product range and the parts it consists of to solve the tasks at a high professional level. Responsibilities: · Link between R&D and production. · Testing, troubleshooting, and implementation of effective solutions. · Report and document the troubleshooting. · Quality assignments. · Incoming control. · Handling of RMA Units Professional skills: · Trained as a Mechatronics engineer, production technologist, or similar. · Experience with troubleshooting and understands troubleshooting at all levels. · Knowledge of norms and related standards. · Experience of working according to a quality system and a development process. · Experience with basic mechanical principles, materials, and processes. · Experience in product development of fine mechanics. · English verbal and written. Personal skills: · Collaborates well in teams and across the entire organization. · Works systematically, purposefully and has great drive. · Takes responsibility for planning and completing tasks at the agreed time. · Professional and constructive mindset for deepening the tasks being worked on. · Good with your hands and know how to handle tools.
