Mission As Chef de Partie, you'll be responsible for ensuring smooth food service operations that meet the hotel's quality standards. You'll oversee the preparation, quality, and presentation of food in your assigned kitchen. Additionally, you'll manage the efficiency of your team, as well as maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in your designated areas. What will I have to do? Operations Actively participate in food preparation, ensuring adherence to quality standards, portion control, and presentation guidelines. Ensure all dishes meet the required specifications in terms of taste, garnish, and cooking times. Oversee the proper use of products and kitchen equipment, ensuring efficiency and cost control. Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and order in all kitchen areas, including storage rooms and refrigerators. Monitor food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols. Manage stock rotation, ensuring proper storage and temperature control of all perishable items. Prepares product orders for the consumption area based on the forecast number of covers and submits them to their immediate superior for approval. Team & Development Support the training and development of kitchen staff and trainees. Identify high-potential team members and contribute to their growth within the organization. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, ensuring staff motivation and engagement. Customer Experience Ensure the brand’s philosophy and standards are reflected in every dish served. Health & Safety Follow all health and safety guidelines, ensuring proper handling of equipment and protective gear. Promote a safe and healthy work environment, minimizing risks and accidents. Sustainability Contribute to reducing food waste by implementing best practices. What We’re Looking For Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in a 4 or 5-star hotel. Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations. Passion for culinary excellence and innovation. A team player with strong communication and leadership skills.
