Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
Prepare and cook dishes according to the resort’s recipes and standards.
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to established procedures and quality standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure availability of ingredients.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Collaborate with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to develop new menu items and specials.
Handle guest inquiries and special requests with professionalism and a positive attitude.
Assist with the planning and execution of special events and banquets.
Maintain accurate records of food production and wastage.
Qualifications / Experience
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within the hospitality industry (preferred but not essential).
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation.
A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering exceptional food quality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks with ease.
Fluency in English.
A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
