Are you a designer, engineer or similar with a focus on construction projects and a passion for working practically with wiring projects? Do you want to get your feet wet and contribute to exciting and challenging projects from start to finish?
We are looking for a competent and committed employee for our team who wants to make a difference on the construction site and take responsibility for managing, coordinating and checking wiring projects on behalf of our client. You have an understanding of time planning and plant engineering conditions, e.g. from wiring work in the ground, paving work and traffic regulation. In addition, you have insight into the processes and requirements that apply to, for example, sewer, district heating, gas or water pipeline projects.
In the role, you will be the link between the client and the contractor, ensure smooth project implementation and look after the client's interests. You will be responsible for ordering contractor services and materials as well as planning and managing schedules.
We are looking for a structured and responsible employee with an interest and drive within supply systems, especially district heating. You will be part of our department for Construction & Builders' Advice with a focus on district heating projects as well as a wide range of other wiring tasks, including the establishment and renovation of water and gas lines.
You must be driven by shaping the construction projects and putting them on paper. Experience with CAD programs such as Auto-CAD and/or Microstation will therefore be a clear advantage. In addition to the project creation, the position will also give a great deal of opportunity to get your hands in the dirt and put on your helmet and thus get out on the construction site. Practical experience will therefore be an advantage.

At Artelia, we work interdisciplinary, and you will therefore get to work with colleagues from many different professional backgrounds.
You will be associated with our rapidly expanding office in Aalborg, which is centrally located in the city. You will be part of an interdisciplinary business unit of approx. 40 employees in our unit for Infrastructure in Aalborg. The office has a total of approx. 100 employees divided between the units Construction, Energy and Industry as well as Infrastructure.
We always try to think outside the box, also when it concerns work tasks, and it is therefore possible in practice to work broadly in the various areas of competence within the infrastructure. We play each other strong across the business unit and the office, which is why there is an opportunity to play into projects based elsewhere than in our own department.
Your profile

Is a trained designer, structural engineer, engineer, sewer master or similar.
+2 years of experience, preferably from the contractor or consulting industry. Industry experience is clearly a plus.
You are curious about learning new things and acquiring new knowledge and sharing your own knowledge and expertise.
You would very much like to have experience with drawing wiring systems in recognized CAD systems
You are passionate about the development of future district heating and optimizing the design of wiring systems.
You have an interest in and understanding of national legislation and regulation.
You feel responsible towards colleagues and solving your own tasks and are a "team player"
You have a positive approach and form of communication and communicate effortlessly with colleagues, the client and contractors/craftsmen.

Your primary tasks

Coordination of contractor tasks and his tasks, including time planning
Ordering materials
Inspection of construction sites with everything related to construction works
Participate as co-chairman, referent and the like and eventually independently hold construction meetings, line owner meetings, road inspections, etc.
Draw/project wiring projects, including district heating in particular.
