Flintehøj Children's Home will become a Nest children's home in 2025, and in this connection we are looking for you who want to help make your mark and want to practice, learn and develop yourself - together with us.

Who are we?

Flintehøj is located in Vedbæk close to forest, beach and 300 meters from Vedbæk station. We value trips out of the house highly and have good options for transport with the coastal railway and the bus, as well as short walks to the beach and the forest.

About the job

In Flintehøj, you will have your daily routine in a group of 16 children, where we create 4 special places for children on the autism spectrum. You will be part of a team of educators who work closely together to create participation opportunities for all children in the children's community.
We believe that children are more alike than different and work on the principle that all children can benefit from the safe nest a child needs. Therefore, the entire children's home works based on the values ​​and methods of the Nest pedagogy. We believe that all children - both with and without autism - thrive and develop best in a safe environment.

We are a good match if:

You are a qualified pedagogue - preferably with special educational experience with children aged 3-5
It is an advantage if you have special educational skills and special knowledge about autism
You can see yourself in a children's home, where Nest pedagogy is the supporting element.
You are interested in working inclusively and based on the children's community
You are keen to collaborate in a professional learning community - in-house and interdisciplinary
You have an eye for involving and collaborating with parents
You want to practice, learn and develop - together with us.

In connection with us becoming a Nest children's home, the skills of the entire staff group are developed both before, during and after start-up.

Terms of employment

The job is 37 hours per week starting on 1 May 2025 or by agreement.
