Head of Payroll Operations

We are looking for a Head of Payroll Operations for our client who provides services in 23 countries across Europe and Asia and it is still significantly growing. Head of Payroll Operations Tasks Overseeing with the help of 5 team leaders approximately 25 individuals managing payroll for 30 countries globally Growing the Budapest team and refine service delivery to minimize risks and accommodate growth Working with the external vendor to ensure accurate, timely payments for the global team Resolving issues promptly and proactively improve processes Collaborating on modernizing payroll processes and metrics Reviewing processes and ensuring compliance with regulations Implementing a user-friendly system for employee inquiries Working closely with HR, IT, and Finance teams Requirements college or university degree 8-10 years of experience in international HR / Payroll min. 3 years leadership experience extensive understanding in payroll processes, systems and international operations previous involvement with global payroll systems, preferably Workday or equivalent enterprise HR platforms are highly desirable fluent English both in written and oral full proficiency in Excel excellent problem solving skills outstanding communication abilities Offers competitive salary cafeteria private health insurance and life insurance fruit and snack in the office 2-3 days home office opportuniy Workplace Budapest
