Senior Bidding Engineer - Precast Concrete Structures

Mission: Makes offers for structural projects, aiming to be in line with the company's objectives so as to ensure the increase in profitability as well as the increase in added value for the client. Main responsibilities: Makes the requested offers by carrying out the specific activities: follows the projects won in the production phase by collaborating with the factories, taking into account the requests of the customers, the requirements and constraints of the market as well as the capabilities of the company; Performs the pre-sizing and/or design part, carrying out specific activities in order to implement advantageous technical solutions in the assumed time intervals. Coordinates external design teams in the timely completion of projects under design; Identifies, studies and proposes ways to adapt the portfolio of products and services to customer and market requirements in order to optimize productivity and profitability, continuously identifying opportunities for diversification and innovation of the portfolio and technical solutions, in parallel with increasing the weight of standard elements in the production profile; Develop and apply technical collaboration approaches with technical representatives of market players (clients, general contractors, designers, architects, etc.) in order to systematically promote Somaco solutions and anticipate the needs of future clients and/or potentials; Collaborates with the Sales Managers and the Commercial Director in obtaining maximum results from the bidding action, providing support and assistance to the colleagues in the bidding team, helping to increase the technical skills of the colleagues in the team; Ensures that by collaborating with the teams in the assigned factories that the bids and contracted projects optimally respond to the parameters of production in terms of volumes, structure and costs; Ensures compliance with the rules of conduct in the organization and the standards regarding business integrity and competitive practices both for himself and for those he comes into contact with.
