The Position IT/Telecom Lead Buyer Job Summary Job Purpose The IT/Telecom lead buyer is supporting the IT/Telecom global category manager. Commodities managed are :software;hardware;IT services;telecom (services and devices);I.O.T….. Global yearly spend is around 70M€. Responsibilities Manage RFP’s corresponding to IT roadmap/business needs (ex : software; hardware;networks;cybersecurity…) Negotiate prices and contract with suppliers (editors;resellers….) Manage contracts renewals; renegotiation Implement strategies defined at category level ( interlock with regions to track evidences) Handle all administrative tasks related to category management (contract database update; suppliers reporting collection and consolidation;business reviews preparation..) Support local purchasing teams on spot projects (in various categories) Work under the guidances of the IT/Telecom Global Category Manager Work in close collaboration with IT function as primary internal stakeholder (mainly located in Europe) End to end purchasing process management Report purchasing performance (savings) Supportive of purchasing digitalization (E-procurement) Qualifications & Experience BSc in technology or purchasing/supply chain Minimum 4 to 6 years’ experience in IT/Telecom purchasing (software;hardware;mobility…) Knowledge of other indirect purchasing categories is a plus English : Fluent / French is a plus Strong analytical skills Curious about other categories Position Type Full time and Permanent Only technical issues will be monitored through the below inbox: recruiting.support@ imerys.com PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT RESUMES OR APPLICATIONS TO THIS EMAIL, AS THEY WILL NOT BE REVIEWED.
