Crack software codes and troubleshoot equipment - help keep police equipment running

Are you technically sound with a keen eye for troubleshooting whether it's with a voltmeter or in software codes? Then we have an exciting position for you! Dive into the world of electronics and communication equipment in the National Police's Service and Workshop section, where your expertise not only solves technical challenges, but also plays a decisive role for the police's core task: maintaining safety, peace and order in society.  
Your most important task You will be part of the Service and Workshop section, which is part of the National Police's Center for Fleet and Material Management. In the centre, we work closely together, and flexibility between the sections is crucial to achieving the projects and operations.  
In Service and Workshop, we operate a number of police-specific systems, including SINE (SIkkeredsNEt) radios and Bifrost computers. The complexity of the systems ranges widely – so you must have an appetite for both voltmeters and troubleshooting in software code. 
Technical developments also affect our section. From previously being able to solve the tasks ourselves, we are moving in the direction of working with supplier management and quality assurance. We are still a work in progress, so the tasks are currently varied, but over the coming years the practically oriented tasks will take up less space.   
Your tasks include: 

Operation and administration of SINE radio equipment
Operation and troubleshooting of the police's Bifrost system
Ad hoc servicing of various police components 

You get a broad contact surface for users, vehicle managers and suppliers from all the country's police circles. As you gain insight into the subject area, you will also be involved in the purchase of new equipment. 
Much of our work is very specifically targeted at the police, so of course we provide a thorough introduction via sidekick training and "learning-by-doing".

Our new colleague You have a relevant technical background. Your educational background is not decisive, but we imagine that you have a technical education with knowledge of IT.  
In your everyday life, both Danish and English are included in connection with your tasks. Therefore, you must know both Danish and English.  We document our work, so there will also be smaller written assignments. 
The systems in the police are unique systems, so we do not expect you to have experience with these systems, but that you have a professional curiosity to familiarize yourself with them. We must, as written, probably provide thorough training.  
We expect you to:

can work independently with problem solving and troubleshooting after our introduction. 
have really got our hands together, as we solve both small and large tasks. 
you are comfortable with tasks of an operational nature
have the opportunity to solve tasks in Jutland and Funen of up to one week's duration 3-6 times a year. This is planned together with the other employees.
is ready for change, as the priorities in the task solution often change.  

Salary and terms of employment You will be employed on collective agreement terms in accordance with the agreements between the Ministry of Finance and SAMDATA/HK in force at all times. Depending on your qualifications and competences, it will be possible to negotiate a qualification supplement. Alternatively, you will be employed on another relevant collective agreement. 
The area of employment is the National Police, and your place of work will be the National Police, Center for Fleet and Material Management, Hambrosgade 21, 1780 Copenhagen V. 
It is a prerequisite for employment that you can be security cleared, just as you must be able to maintain the security clearance throughout your employment. 
Per 1 June 2024, the National Police introduced smoke-free working hours.
