About the position: At our head office in Hjøllund, we are looking for an experienced payroll manager for our finance department, where you will become part of a team of 5 employees. The finance department is a central function in the company with a focus on both payroll, bookkeeping, reconciliations and payments as well as informative monthly accounts and budgets at group level.
You will be overall responsible for our paid driving for our hourly paid Danish drivers and for our workshop/laundry. In addition, you will also be co-responsible for the payroll process for our Swedish and Lithuanian departments in collaboration with external payroll agencies.
Your tasks include below:
Paid driving for our hourly employee in Denmark, including checking and registering driving reports, bookkeeping, polling and compiling statistics.
Bookkeeping and reconciliation of the salary as well as handling of VAT, payments, statistics, etc. on our Swedish set up.
Check and vote on our Lithuanian set up.
Create new hourly paid employees and adjust new provisions from the collective agreement in our systems.
Answer questions from our hourly employees regarding wages etc.
Follow-up and reimbursement in connection with school stays, illness and leave for our hourly employees.
Various ad hoc tasks where you assist your colleagues in the finance department with other administrative tasks, including bookkeeping, invoicing, etc.
Responsible for ongoing adaptation of telephony and keys.
Your background: We are looking for a welcoming and happy person, with experience from similar tasks and who can take on independent responsibility. You must take pride in the fact that there is always a high quality in the execution of your work tasks and the importance of a correct and timely salary.
Your educational background is not of a decisive nature, but we would instead like you to have solid experience in payroll processing for hourly employees and interpretation of collective agreements in the field of logistics.
You are structured and detail-oriented in your way of working, and careful with your tasks. In addition, it would be an advantage if you have the following skills:
Excel at a high level.
Experience using C5 and Business Central.
Experience with SmartTid and Intect is an advantage but not a requirement.
IT is a natural part of your professional toolbox.
You speak and write English at a reasonable level.
