Job DescriptionDo you have experience in continuous improvement and ensuring that production tasks are carried out flawlessly? Do you have experience supervising the performance of production lines in the automotive industry? We have the right vacancy for you. We are looking for the profile of Production Shift Leader for the fixed afternoon schedule, for Neiva - Viana do Castelo. Your responsibilities: -Supervise the performance of all production lines and provide the necessary support to achieve production objectives and reduce scrap. -Making records of employee training, ensuring that the training matrix is complied with. -Ensure compliance with 5S procedures in production and carry out preventive maintenance to ensure greater efficiency and reduce production downtime. -Train production employees in appropriate methods for carrying out standard work (SW). -Participate in updating procedures for all production processes, taking into account feedback from employees, production managers and management. -Communicate information regarding production to your peers and superiors. -Comply with all factory safety policies and procedures. -Assist and support continuous improvement based on TPS (Toyota Production System). -Monitor daily tasks and the work completed by your team members to ensure compliance with or exceeding the production department's KPIs. -Define the shift schedule, including: job assignments/rotation, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, Work Order assignments, providing backups for absent employees, and shift rotation. -Take responsibility for production processes during your shift at the factory. -Help keep team members in key positions properly trained to reduce scrap, and improve efficiency, without ever compromising safety. -Be able to work as a team and communicate positively with teammates. -Know what procedures to adopt in situations of anomaly in the workplace or factory. -Control the entire production process and, in the event of any abnormality, confirm the problem on site and act in accordance with the procedures established for abnormal situations. -Guide and invest in the development of employees’ skills. For you to be successful in this role you must have: -Higher education (Industrial Management, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering) -2 to 3 years' experience in the automotive sector (preferred) -Knowledge of languages (English or French preferred) -Ability to use Windows tools and ERP Software to monitor production; -Knowledge of Industry tools (Kaizen activity, QRQC, visual management, etc.); -Knowledge of Safety, Quality and Production indicators: TRS, OEE, scrap, absenteeism, Safety, quality incidents, problem resolution; -Availability to work fixed afternoon hours (2pm-10pm). We offer: Direct employment contract with a client company in the automotive sector; Base salary according to the duties performed Nighttime allowance of 25% Food allowance of 9.60 per day on meal card Health Insurance.
