Our partner is an international manufacturing company dealing with the production of unique products with a long history, who, due to the expansion of their product portfolio, are looking for a Supplier Development Engineer who would be an active member of the international supplier development professional team.
Your duties in the new position
Management of quality problems discovered at suppliers, introduction of measures
The discovery of supplier risk factors and the development of related solutions
Development of existing supplier portfolio
Supplier performance monitoring
In the case of new projects, you support the search for new suppliers and the establishment of a suitable supplier base
Supplier auditing
What you need to succeed
At least 3 years of quality assurance experience
Fluent English or German (whichever is appropriate)
Experience in quality tasks related to suppliers
Willingness to travel (occasionally a couple of days trips to suppliers, approx. 10-20% travel in the scope of work)
Higher education (preferably in a technical field)
