Section engineer (power current)

The tasks of our new colleague will be
- supervising the planning and preparation of periodical and ad hoc inspections, supervision and maintenance works in the field
- carries out the control of the planning and execution of technical tests and measurements, supervision and maintenance activities within its competence. Based on the tests, he proposes the necessary technical and safety measures to the chief engineer
- organization, supervision and control of professional supervision activities
- prepares complex evaluations and ratings according to professional boundaries. Checks the professional activities of the sections, proposes measures to the management to correct deviations in order to ensure the proper operation of the executive units
- participates in investment, renovation and maintenance works and handover procedures in order to enforce the operator's interests. Performs the control and review of measurements before placing them on the market
- collects information on the technical condition of the equipment under its jurisdiction, on the basis of which it makes proposals for investment, renovation and planned maintenance works, for the modification of technical documentation and technology, for the compilation of annual technical plans
- participates in the procedures for placing on the market, in the prevention and investigation of extraordinary events and accidents, as well as during damage restoration.
- performs tasks related to track capacity restrictions
- comments on the technical plans referred to his responsibilities
- participation in the operation of a priority railway line
What is needed to fill the job role
- advanced specialized education - diploma (safety engineer
traffic engineer, electrical engineer, electrical plant engineer, mechanical engineer, mechatronic engineer, IT engineer)
- advanced railway (engineering) professional exam

Simplified traffic high-current specialist service according to the NFM regulation (track operator can also be responsible for capacity demand use)
- knowledge of systems, machines and equipment belonging to his duties
