The Establishment and Terrain Command is looking for a new colleague for plumbing at Vordingborg Barracks. About us The Establishment and Field Command has its head office in Hjørring, but has employees at duty stations throughout the country. We deliver and develop the physical framework for the military operational units and the other authorities under the Ministry of Defence. We ensure heat and water, carry out building maintenance and minor repairs as well as minor tasks out on the grounds and much, much more. Many of the tasks are solved by our 28 establishment partner elements, which are distributed in the largest service locations throughout the country. Everything from user inquiries and purchases to event support and building maintenance is handled here. In the past, many of these tasks were carried out by an external supplier. But we have taken home several of the tasks, in order to better support everyday life in the Armed Forces and the operational needs. Over the past six months, we have welcomed many new colleagues, all of whom must contribute to creating a better physical framework throughout the Armed Forces. These are big changes, and it will be a busy and exciting period. We therefore need additional skilled and committed colleagues who have a good attitude towards service. About the position Your tasks consist of performing practical operating and maintenance tasks, supervision, quality assurance, receiving goods, etc. at the establishment. This in close cooperation with your colleagues as well as the local units and users – military as well as civilians. The tasks, where your professional skills are effectively brought into play, can both be planned annual tasks, but there will also be a number of ad hoc tasks, some of which will be of an urgent nature. You will also be part of the team that solves other day-to-day operational tasks - for example waste management, removals etc. Likewise, both as a performer and as a contributor, you will be involved in project tasks within both new construction and centrally organized building maintenance at the establishment. You must therefore be able to thrive in a varied everyday life with a wide range of collaboration areas, which includes a close dialogue with the local users, colleagues, external suppliers, project managers, etc. About you We expect you to be a skilled plumber with experience in the maintenance of buildings and existing technical installations. If you have experience with refrigeration technology and ventilation, it is an advantage, but not a requirement. You are used to using IT tools and email systems. As a person, you are primarily service-minded, have a good sense of order. You are a good colleague who values ​​good cooperation with colleagues and management. You naturally contribute to the larger community. You express yourself well in Danish, both in writing and in speech, and get along with other people easily. You are easy to interact with and have good situational awareness. You work in a structured way and have a strong motivation to get the job done. In addition, you are committed, take responsibility for tasks and are happy to go the extra mile to find the solution to a difficult situation. It is a requirement that you have driving license B. Terms of employment The employment takes place in accordance with the Joint Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees' Organizations - The State Sector (OAO-S collective agreement) and the Organizational Agreement for tradesmen and technicians in force at any time. The basic salary is DKK 28,579.24 per month in April 2025 level. Depending on your qualifications and competences, it is possible to negotiate supplements. An employer-funded pension scheme is attached to the position. The workplace is in Vordingborg. As an employee under the Ministry of Defence, you are covered by some special conditions.
