See why organisations of all sizes choose XBP Europe as a digital transformation partner, visit our website at www.xbpeurope.com Application Support Engineer Ensuring the fulfillment of the SW service contract Compliance with service-level agreements External and internal reporting Escalation management Provider management (responsibility and support of service contracts with our service providers) Special assignments weekend work (new releases etc.) Implementation and collaboration in projects Planning and implementation of new methods and systems to improve the quality of products and applications Recording, analyzing and eliminating process problems for customers Support in the creation of customer and operational management documentation Key Attributes Analytical thinking & quick comprehension High motivation Ability to work in a team & flexibility Versatile communication Prioritization of workload Stress resistance Essential Knowledge Training in IT/technology or comparable professional training or professional experience Experience In DBs, System/network Administration Or IT Support Good knowledge of VMWARE/ESX technologies Knowledge of Microsoft and Linux operating systems Good knowledge of various network technologies Effectiveness in customer communication Project Planning Experience Desired knowledge: Experience with operational processes in an outsourcing or third party environment Knowledge of ITIL SQL & Oracle knowledge Support of microservices-based software systems Kubernetes / DevOps The Requirements Are experienced application support person (with 3+ years experience in same domain applications & production platforms) knowledge on Captiva software (ideally 6.5 and 7.5) knowledge on Windows Server and SQL server apps fluent in french (both oral and writing) since in contact with end users in production good level in English since open to contacts with int’l teams and customers curious and willingness to learn knowledge or experience in app development ability to be a backup of other team members when on leave.
